TED and Animation Video Critique

• The 18 minute video with Steve Johnson was clear with his point. It was an effective way to learn but it was lengthy and it was harder, as part of the audience, to pay attention and stay awake.

• The shorter animated video was also clear and it was a much faster and summarized ideas by using creative sketches and animations. One negative aspect about this method of video is that you miss out on the sense of humor and personal experiences that a person has to share.

• I liked the animated video because I can relate more imagery to what is being learned, is more entertaining, and is what I am used to in this generation of learning.
• Although it does depend on the person to decide which method they like since some people learn by imagery and others by sound.
